POSITION TITLE : Program Aide

PAY RANGE : $16.50 - $20.38

OUTCOMES

The Program Aide supports corps programs and ministry activities through live translation (English / Spanish), simple program prep, participant support, and clean-up ensuring families can fully engage in Salvation Army programming.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide live verbal translation (English Spanish) during programs, worship elements, announcements, small groups, and events.
• Assist with program set-up and prep (materials, signage, supplies).
• Support Paper Goods Pantry operations once a month (set-up, check-in support, light translation, and tear-down).
• Assist with clean-up and room reset after programs.
• Provide translation support for seasonal programs (i.e., Angel Tree).
• Welcome participants and families; offer basic wayfinding and hospitality.
• Follow Salvation Army policies, procedures, and mission values.
• Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Under general supervision of the Corps Officers / Cords Administrators with minimal freedom to plan, schedule and carry out responsibilities within established policies and guidelines.

This individual relates to and interacts with, a wide range of contacts both within and outside the Salvation Army. In these contacts, they act as a representative of the Army and its mission.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

This individual will be evaluated on how effectively the outcomes of this position are achieved, as well as the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of accomplishing assigned goals.

A 30, 60, and 90-day performance review will be conducted.
