We are looking for an experienced hybrid Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize the financial operations of our client's team in Austin, Texas. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a skilled team, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely financial information.

Responsibilities :

• Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and month-end close procedures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three accounting professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Prepare accurate monthly and year-end financial reports, ensuring compliance with established standards and policies.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to maintain operational integrity.
• Partner with FP& A and other departments to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, state and local regulations, and other mandatory reporting requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation.
• Expertise in handling journal entries and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Experience with implementing process improvements and automation in accounting functions.
• Familiarity with tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
