Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician

Are you a certified lab professional looking for a meaningful, hands-on role in a collaborative, patient-centered environment? A well-established healthcare facility in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join their dedicated team.

This is a full-time, generalist position involving high-complexity testing, instrument maintenance, and direct communication with providers.

What You'll Do

  • Perform high-complexity lab testing across core disciplines
  • Accurately analyze and report results to support clinical decisions
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
  • Assist with specimen collection and processing
  • Collaborate with providers on test interpretation and follow-up
  • Support lab quality assurance, supply management, and documentation
  • Perform phlebotomy when needed and contribute to a flexible team dynamic

    • Job Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field (required)
  • MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MLT(ASCP), or equivalent certification required within one year of hire
  • 3+ years' experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting with attention to detail and safety
