Summary :

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling the mechanical components of Astrophysics x-ray security machines. This role involves using handheld tools to fasten and connect parts, including large panels, while maintaining quality and safety standards. Assemblers work in a team, each completing specific tasks to build units that are utilized globally.

Essential Functions :

  • Assemble mechanical components of x-ray machines following manufacturing plans, drawings and instructions
  • Use handheld tools to fasten, screw, and drill parts accurately
  • Connect large panels and other components securely to machines as required
  • Complete assembly tasks efficiently to meet production goals

Education and Experience :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in mechanical assembly preferred
  • Shift and Schedule :

  • Full-time, M-F, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as needed to support business operations
