Summary :
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling the mechanical components of Astrophysics x-ray security machines. This role involves using handheld tools to fasten and connect parts, including large panels, while maintaining quality and safety standards. Assemblers work in a team, each completing specific tasks to build units that are utilized globally.
Essential Functions :
- Assemble mechanical components of x-ray machines following manufacturing plans, drawings and instructions
- Use handheld tools to fasten, screw, and drill parts accurately
- Connect large panels and other components securely to machines as required
- Complete assembly tasks efficiently to meet production goals
