Key Responsibilities
Install & Assemble : Set up control systems, wiring, and electrical components for custom machinery, ensuring precise integration and functionality.
Troubleshoot & Repair : Diagnose and fix issues with PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems to reduce downtime and maintain peak performance.
Blueprint & Technical Reading : Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for installations, upgrades, and repairs.
Preventative Maintenance : Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
Collaboration : Work closely with engineering teams to enhance system performance and implement improvements.
Documentation : Maintain detailed records of configurations, updates, and repairs.
Training : Provide technical support and guidance to staff on control system operation.
What You Bring
High school diploma required; technical certification or degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Control Technician or in a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, electrical components, and control systems.
Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Team player with effective communication skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations, industry standards, and equipment qualification procedures.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Industrial setting with occasional exposure to moving machinery, noise, and airborne particles.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders, and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
