POSITION SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for the effective execution of front office procedures and for delivering professional, courteous patient interactions within the clinic.  This role will serve as a central point of contact for patients, as well as the key administrative support for all clinical staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Demonstrate professional, efficient scheduling of new and returning patients
  • Quickly and professionally checking in clinic patients, including accurate payment collection
  • Timely management of treatment authorizations required by medical insurance plans
  • Able to efficiently manage phone calls for multiple locations
  • Support the billing function by completing accurate and timely benefit checks for new and returning patients
  • Able to provide patients with basic education regarding the evaluation and treatment of vestibular issues
  • Perform clinic tasks in a manner that maximizes clinical staff productivity and promotes a positive patient experience
  • Consistent delivery of core administrative procedures within the clinic setting
  • Participate in completion of organizational projects as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • High school diploma
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft and Google office products
  • Basic understanding of the structure and terminology of medical insurance plans
  • Minimum of (1) year work experience in a role requiring strong customer service skills
  • Previous work experience that demonstrates a strong administrative support background
  • Preferred

  • Previous experience in a front office patient support role within a healthcare setting
  • Ability to navigate patient scheduling and record retention systems
