TrustPoint Hospital is looking to add a Nurse Manager (RN) to our nursing leadership team and oversee our Geriatric Unit.

TrustPoint located in Murfreesboro, TN is the leading Inpatient psych and physical rehab hospital in the area. TrustPoint is a state-of-the-art hospital that provides rehabilitation services, medical psychiatry, and inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. TrustPoint is in the heart of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, only 30 minutes from Nashville. With so many specialties and populations treated, nurses can build key skills to expand and grow their careers.

Work Schedule and Hours :

Full Time

Monday - Friday

8a - 4 : 30p

Unit Availability :

Senior Unit : men and women ages 65 and above who meet one or both of the following criteria :

• Experiencing behavioral disturbances related to dementia or other cognitive disorders
• Experiencing mood disturbances and / or struggles related to grief, loss, and other adjustments

Purpose Statement :

Assists the DON / CNO with directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of nursing for assigned units. Oversees the delivery of behavioral health / nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration to ensure that all residents' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as nursing practice standards. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.

Other Functions :

Education / Experience / Skill Requirements :

BSN or higher strongly preferred

Current registered nursing license in State of facility required

Three years as a registered nurse strongly preferred

Two years of registered nursing experience required

Two years of prior experience as a registered nursing with patient population of the facility is preferred.

One year of prior experience with the population required

Prior experience as a house supervisor strongly preferred

One year of charge RN or other administrative experience required.
