Position Overview
Responsible for leading and motivating a team of NA / Corporate procurement professionals, developing and executing global non-merch procurement strategies, managing and optimizing the procure-to-pay process and travel team, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring compliance with global procurement activities.
A thought leader and partner with senior management who will lead a team of professionals responsible for facilitating requirements gathering, conducting research, data analysis and supplier negotiations resulting in the creation of value and positive financial outcomes across the Company. Works closely with project teams and leads a dedicated procurement team in day-to-day activities for assigned projects and initiatives. Experience in people management, category management, analysis, sourcing, travel management and reporting are essential for success in this role. Reports to the Global Head of Procurement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating a team of procurement professionals, developing and executing global indirect procurement
strategies in alignment with Ralph Lauren’s business objectives and sustainability commitments, managing and optimizing
the procure-to-pay process, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring compliance with
global procurement activities
Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance,continuous improvement and alignment with core values
Lead negotiations with key suppliers to ensure the best combination of cost, quality, and reliabilityCultivating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, assessing their performance, and aligning them with RLexpectations, including sustainability and social responsibility standards
Continuously evaluating and improving procurement processes to drive efficiency, cost savings and innovationManaging and optimizing the procure-to-pay process across multiple countries, ensuring efficiency and complianceAnalyzing financial implications of each sourcing alternative and driving supplier diversity outreach initiativesOverseeing and optimizing procurement processes and systems to ensure they meet the needs of a global, rapidly evolvingorganization with a cost and high-quality service
Leading cross-functional teams to drive major procurement projects and initiativesMonitoring and analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsDrive innovation within the procurement function by identifying and implementing new technologies and processes thatimprove efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all aspects of the procurement functionDevelop best in class RL Travel Program ensuring the safety of RL travelers along with the best value and travel experienceExperience, Skills & Knowledge

Business Bachelor’s degree, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferredMinimum of 12 years of demonstrable experience in procurement, with at least 8 years in regional or global procurementleadership role
Experience in managing travel and reporting; experience in a global, multi-brand context, retail, fashion or the luxurygoods sector preferred
Experience leading RF(x) events required – experience with Workday / Scout e-sourcing an assetProfessional certifications are an asset (APICS, CPIM, NAPM etc.)High performer ready for more responsibilitySAP / Ariba experience highly preferredRalph Lauren will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records in a manner consistent with the requirements of the law, including any applicable fair chance laws.
