Employment Type : Full-Time Position Summary ZT Automotive is looking for an Entry-Level Helpdesk Technician to provide front-line IT support for our dealership staff across multiple locations. This role is responsible for answering support tickets, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and escalating more complex problems to mid / senior IT staff. The position is ideal for someone starting their IT career and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for dealership employees needing IT support.
- Log, track, and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues with computers, printers, phones, and mobile devices.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel).
- Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and user setup in Active Directory and dealership systems.
- Ensure workstations and peripherals are set up correctly for new employees.
- Escalate more advanced issues to mid / senior IT staff.
- Maintain clear documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Provide basic user training on IT tools and dealership applications.
Requirements :
Qualifications & Skills
Education : High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or IT training preferred).Experience : 0–2 years of IT support / helpdesk experience (internship or hands-on experience is a plus).Familiarity with Windows 10 / 11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Customer service-oriented with patience and professionalism.Willingness to learn dealership-specific systems (CDK, CRM, OEM portals).Ability to follow documented processes and escalate issues appropriately.Preferred Certifications (nice to have, not required) :
