Project Engineer

Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group, is seeking to hire an Energy Project Developer / Engineer who would serve as the primary technical resource to the Business Development and Project Delivery teams. Responsible for identifying and understanding the mechanical, electrical, utility, and energy-related equipment and systems within a prospective customer's facility. Responsible for developing comprehensive and cost-effective technical solutions that increase the operational efficiency and / or effectiveness of the facility. Provides ongoing technical consultation and design of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) to facilitate the sales / business development process, ensure smooth installations, and achieve identified energy savings for the customer. This candidate should have a strong "airside" background and be interested in data analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform HVAC and building performance calculations to support system design and project planning.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and code updates.
• Identify and apply appropriate software modeling tools to enhance project accuracy and efficiency.
• Leverage cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for team collaboration and document management.
• Travel locally throughout Southeast Texas to visit project sites, attend meetings, and coordinate with teams.
• Participate in occasional overnight travel based on project needs.
