Overview

At Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), we're seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Principal to help lead and grow our Civil / Site Practice in the Toledo and surrounding areas. This is a high-impact leadership role for a driven professional who thrives on mentoring teams, building client relationships, and delivering exceptional results across a wide range of private and public sector projects.

You'll collaborate with senior management to shape the strategic direction of the practice-locally and regionally-while guiding clients through complex regulatory environments and ensuring technical excellence across every project phase.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and grow the Civil / Site Practice through business development and client relationship management.

• Guide clients through planning, permitting, design, and construction processes.
• Oversee proposal development, project budgeting, and quality assurance.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and project managers.
• Conduct performance reviews and support staff development goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and professional development programs.
