What You'll Do
This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.
The Game Development Specialist is responsible for the development of new games, ensuring they are built to be as cost-effective and manufacturing friendly as possible. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, programming, and databases to continuously improve game-building efficiency. The specialist must stay up to date with the latest hardware and software advancements, making recommendations to the Design and Game Development Manager to enhance departmental productivity. In addition to game development, this role involves coordinating with internal and external teams to manage project timelines, regulatory approvals, and quality control.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Game Development, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field, with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. They should be familiar with game development software, tools, and current technologies, with prior experience in game development or project coordination highly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication, time management, and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
