SENTRAN ELECTRONICS - JR. ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components for various projects. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to gain hands-on experience, contributing to the execution of electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities :

Design Assistance :

Assist in the design of electrical systems and components for new products, systems, or projects under the supervision of senior engineers. Help create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.

Testing and Troubleshooting :

Conduct tests on electrical systems and components to ensure they meet required specifications and standards. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, providing recommendations for improvements.

Documentation :

Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and compliance certifications. Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Project Support :

Support senior engineers in various stages of electrical projects, including the development of project timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation.

Collaboration :

Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, design engineers, and production teams to ensure that electrical components are integrated effectively into overall system designs.

Compliance :

Ensure all electrical designs comply with local, state, and national regulations, as well as industry standards for safety and quality. Stay updated on electrical engineering codes and standards.

Research and Development :

Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Contribute to research and development efforts by proposing innovative electrical solutions.

Problem Solving :

Assist in resolving electrical engineering challenges by analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective actions.

Continuous Learning :

Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to further develop your technical skills and knowledge in electrical engineering.

Qualifications : Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

A Master's degree or specialized coursework may be an advantage but is not required.)

Experience :

0-2 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or a related field, including internships or co-op programs.

Skills :

Basic understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.

Familiarity with industry-standard software tools for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, or similar).

Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and concepts.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Other :

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

A strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

A proactive and eager attitude towards learning and personal development.
