Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
• Perform orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, arthroscopy, and fracture repairs
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication prescriptions and physical therapy referrals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and post-operative care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care-Work under MD / Orthopedic Surgeon

Pay : From $130,000.00 per year depending on experience

Requirements

Strong knowledge of human anatomy and musculoskeletal system

PA certification with specialization in orthopedics preferred

Proficiency in medical coding and documentation for accurate billing and insurance claims

Experience working with electronic health record systems, Athena Health preferred
