Respiratory Care Practitioner

Pay Scale : $33-$53 / hr

SUMMARY

A large hospital in Spokane, WA is searching for a permanent full-time Respiratory Care Practitioner. This unit is made up of caring individuals who put the patient’s safety and concerns before themselves. This is very much a team-like atmosphere and it’s an excellent opporntity to provide quality care to patients in an environment that fosters transparency, respect and partnership!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles

Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care

Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy

Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.

REQUIREMENTS

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy

Washington RRT License required upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
