About The Position

Job Title : RN Surgical Nurse

Must-Have :

Strong circulating skills.

Ability to circulate general, orthopedic, and Client cases.

Experience scrubbing preferred.

Assist anesthesiologists with intubation, blocks, and IV placements.

Able to suture in various specialties.

Description :

This position involves working within a fast-paced surgical environment.

The facility is a Level IV Trauma Center.

Daily cases average between 25 to 30.

Patient types include general, urology, orthopedic, spine, and Client.

The focus includes total joints, complex posterior / anterior surgeries, and limited vascular procedures.

No pediatric, cardiac, brain, or transplant cases are included.

Top surgical cases are orthopedic, general, and Client.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1.

The surgical team is supported by charge nurses, educators, and schedulers.

Technology includes electronic health records and advanced monitoring equipment.

On-call scheduling is required, with a weekend rotation of once every 5-6 weeks.

The environment is traveler-friendly, emphasizing support and teamwork.

Strong skills in scrubbing and circulating are essential for success in this role.

The position will not involve taking patient assignments or administering medications outside the designated scope.
