Job Summary : We are actively seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Programmer with specialized knowledge of Siemens fire alarm systems (including MXL, XLS, platforms) to support projects across New York City. The ideal candidate must have the necessary NYC certifications and demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in programming, configuring, and commissioning complex fire alarm systems in accordance with local codes and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Program, configure, and commission Siemens fire alarm systems (MXL, XLS, Modular / Desigo)
• Interpret fire alarm drawings and sequences of operation to build accurate system logic
• Coordinate with electricians, engineers, and inspectors to meet NYC Fire Code and NFPA 72 standards
• Perform functional system testing and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Prepare and submit accurate programming documentation, device lists, and test reports
• Interface with NYC Fire Department inspectors (FDNY) during inspections and approvals
• Support site installation teams and ensure smooth handoffs to service / maintenance teams
