What Youll Do

As a Tapping Setup / Operator youll be part of our team located in Montpelier IN. Youll get to :

• Set up Tapping machines
• Trouble shoot machinery and quality issues
• Execute tapping department processes and procedures
• Provide management with supporting documents and data as required
• Notify supervisor to purchase tooling taps and machine repair parts as required
• Schedule parts for tappers and operators according to production schedule
• Understand tapping sequence
• Load machines with parts as required
• Operate PIV
• Clean out oil and parts from inside machines
• Keep tooling clean and in working order
• Perform training for department as necessary
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Able to work different shift to cover production needed
• Understand inventory system and tool re ordering
