About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chancellor to serve as the chief executive of its fully integrated academic medical center. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the institution in its core mission areas of education, clinical care, and research. This role requires a visionary leader who can shape and champion a robust statewide strategy to improve health and advance health science. The Chancellor will work to fulfill the institution's unique role in the state and beyond, with a focus on expanding clinical enterprise, gaining National Cancer Institute designation, and addressing health workforce needs. Collaborative leadership is essential, as the Chancellor will work with Deans, Directors, and other stakeholders to identify and invest in promising new areas of research, particularly in the fields of interdisciplinary, population, and translational research. The ideal candidate for the Chancellor position at the company will be a healthcare professional with a strong leadership background and a deep understanding of the synergies between clinical delivery systems, research, scholarship, education, and engagement. They should have a successful track record of working in complex environments and a commitment to the mission of the institution. The role demands a leader with a collaborative style, capable of fostering a climate where all members of the community can reach their full potential.
