Job Summary : Responsible for providing care focused on gynecological services, reproductive health, postpartum care and peri-post menopause care to the patients of Community Health Alliance (CHA); which may include adolescent girls, women of childbearing age and post-menopausal women.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills to build rapport with patients and explain complex medical issues in a way that is easy to understandActive listening and interviewing skills to uncover symptoms and explore concernsEffective written communication skills to keep accurate, clear recordsAbility to remain upright and stationary for prolonged periods and aid in moving patients and equipmentCritical thinking and analytical skills to interpret the findings of exams and results and make diagnosesExtensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, reproductive health and pharmacologyFamiliarity with medical equipment used for diagnostics specifically related to women's health and software used for medical recordsAbility to diagnose and treat patients within scope of practiceAbility to perform prenatal and postnatal examinationsAbility to provide emotional support to expectant mothersThorough understanding of infection control procedures and standards of care for reproductive healthEducation and Experience :
Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM) from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) from the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) required.Minimum of two years practice experience preferred
