As a member of the IT Management Team, you are responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of employees. Your role includes leading the specific functional responsibilities of your team, which involves overseeing team performance and deliverables. However, your role as a leader within our organization requires more than the management of resources and day-to-day operations. As a steward of the company, you are charged with the development and execution of your team's strategic vision and plan and ensuring that your team's actions align with the larger goals of the company and the IT Division.
The Marketing Technology Manager is a technically focused, digital experienced and problem-solver that has a deep curiosity and passion for creating and building solutions that combine marketing, advertisement and digital technology with process, automation and governance in order to deliver value for Costco members.
The manager will work with key business partners to understand and anticipate current and future business needs. Partner with teams to influence enterprise-level marketing products, IT architecture, and engineering platform strategies to meet the needs of business solutions.

Required :
10 years' experience in marketing technology to support critical business needs.
5+ years' experience building and deploying scalable marketing, retail media and content management solutions. Experience in defining and implementing data strategy for the companies and teams fulfill the transition to being data driven.
Experience in Retail - Merchandising, eCommerce, Supply Chain, and Membership & Marketing.
Experience partnering with business teams to architect and strategize marketing technology and data roadmap.
Experience building and leading successful data science teams including mentorship and career development of both data engineers and analyst team members.
Experience with cloud data infrastructure and building things in a repeatable, scalable way in Adobe and cloud platforms.
Extensive and / or in-depth knowledge of Marketing technology, specifically Adobe experience platform.
Strong communication skills with the ability to level the conversation to business audiences with different technical backgrounds and build strong relationships across departments.
Proven track record of active coaching and mentorship of leading teams to further their career and improve their skills.
Strong familiarity with the Agile development process and proven ability to prepare a project plan, communicate the plan to the team, and break the work down into trackable tasks.
Proactively partner and identify opportunities, set priorities and establish goals.
HIPAA Training and Supervisors Orientation (within 30 days of hire); Leadership Development 101 (within one year); Costco Pay Policies (within 90 days of promotion).
Recommended :
10 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years experience with a Masters.
Experience in Membership, Marketing, Advertising and Content management.
Adobe marketing technology experience would be preferred.
Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail.

Pay Range : $137,000 - $200,000, Bonus and Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligible
