This organization is responsible for developing and supporting our real-time embedded software for numerous processing platforms used in military and commercial avionics products and cockpit display systems including our safety-critical, civil certifiable, multicore processing environment.  The selected candidate will be responsible for :   - Plan and lead work toward the design, development, and verification of real-time embedded software.-Review duration and effort estimates for software development and verification tasks.-Present project status including schedule and budget performance-Assess, review and present project risks and opportunities.-Mentor software developers in technical and process-related areas. The selected candidate will also possess : -Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws / regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience-Demonstrated ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and develop solutions-Energetic and proactive self-starter that builds sound, collaborative relationships-Proficiency with modern software development best practices and configuration management (, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.-Strong background in the development of low-level software and concurrent processing solutions-Python programming experience-Experience with DO-178B / C (DAL A or B preferred)-Experience developing software for real-time operating systems (VxWorks, LynxOS, GHS)     Salary Range : $140k-$175k / yrFor immediate and confidential consideration, please email your resume to  ccorrell@ and call 949.771.9756More information can be found at
