Desktop Technician

Position : Desktop Technician

Location : Onsite; Scottsdale, Arizona, 85260

Duration : Long term contract

Pay Rate : $20-23 / hr based on experience

Position Summary : Details :

  • We backup the Tech RX (similar to a Genius Bar) at Shea, so its important that the resource is comfortable with this walk-up service.
  • Flexible start time between 68 AM to support Central Time Zone users. The schedule will be determined upon starting.
  • There may be a need to support one of our other locations so we do ask for flexibility on location as well :
  • 4750 S. 44th Place
  • 4755 S. 44th Place
  • 2700 West Frye Road, Chandler

Main Location : 9501 E. Shea Blvd.

Tech RX Support :

  • Provide walk-up IT support for desktop, laptop, and phone issues while interacting face-to-face with customers needing assistance.
  • Job Requirements :

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office O365.
  • 3+ years of troubleshooting and configuring various devices, with strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of operating systems, hardware, and software.
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of Active Directory and account maintenance.
  • Experience with Apple support (Mac, iPad, iPhone).
  • Mobile device support experience for iPhone, Android, and iPad.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience are essential.
  • Must be able to lift monitors and other equipment as needed, up to 50 lbs
