Our client in Bergen County is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and motivated Senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer to lead there machining operations and grow our engineering department. This is a key leadership position responsible for advancing our precision manufacturing capabilities, particularly in 5-axis CNC machining for high-tolerance parts.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently set up, program, and operate CNC-controlled milling centers with a focus on 5-axis machining.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D to optimize machining strategies.
- Configure tooling, fixtures, and setups for accuracy and repeatability.
- Monitor machining cycles and make real-time adjustments to ensure production efficiency and part quality.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machinists and production staff.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming, operational issues, and robotic system malfunctions.
- Read and interpret AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam drawings and models.
- Optimize machining sequences and build control plans for complex parts and prototypes.
- Lead process improvement efforts to enhance cycle times, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
- Perform precision inspections using standard and advanced measuring tools.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and all relevant quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.10 + years of hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machining and programming.Experience with robotic loading systems and automated machining centers .Proficiency in G-code , AutoCAD , Mastercam , and SolidWorks .Strong background in precision engineering and tight tolerance machining .Demonstrated ability to mentor , lead teams , and drive continuous improvement .Experience in medical, aerospace, or defense manufacturing is highly preferred.
