Position : Locum MD / DO - Emergency Medicine

Location : Tulsa, Oklahoma

Responsibilities :

Provide immediate medical care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries in an emergency department setting.

Perform initial assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.

Stabilize and manage patients experiencing critical conditions, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and severe infections.

Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, technicians, and specialists, to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.

Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of patient encounters, assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

Qualifications :

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.

Valid Oklahoma state medical license.

Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine.

Proficiency in emergency medical procedures and protocols.
