Submission Requirements : Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply. Department : Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) - MS General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.)- BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) Certs / ARRT & other specialty certification requirements - Radiography and CT How many scanners / rooms does this department have?- 6 Will they have to float / cover any other areas? - No just the 6 scanners at Ruby Common types of imaging / studies performed & Job Duties - Basic CT's - Head, Chest, Abdomen Extremities, Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Perfusion Experience or 'Must have' skills - Toshiba / Canon Experience Average # of scans / studies per day - 20 EMR & / or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System : software & hardware) do they use - Fuji PACS, EPIC EMR Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) - Toshiba / Canon Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech - Yes Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? - No Radiologist in-house? - Yes Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) - Yes, but rarely Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) - No self scheduling, will put most days together Weekend Requirements - Yes Holiday Requirements - No Call or Standby requirement? Response time? - No Scrub Color / Dress Code : Are scrubs provided? - Yes, gray scrubs
