Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for all OT cybersecurity initiatives across industrial and clean campus energy facilities.
• Define OT security architecture and standards in collaboration with Lancium ’s engineering teams.
• Lead security risk assessments, threat modeling, and control gap analysis specific to OT / ICS environments.
• Develop tailored thread models specific to Lancium 's OT / ICS environment using the MITRE ATT&CK framework or other industry accepted best practices within the Energy Sector.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert (SME) on cybersecurity best practices.
• Design and assist with the implementation of hardware and software in accordance with the Purdue Model and Zero Trust Architecture standards and network segmentation tailored to OT protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, DNP3, OPC, etc.).
• Assist with coordination of incident response activities for cyber events affecting OT systems.
• Manage vulnerability assessments and patch management programs for IC‑SCADA components, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain compliance with NIST 800‑82, IEC 62443, NERC CIP, and other applicable standards.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to enforce secure‑by‑design principles in OT system development.
• Contribute to development of OT security awareness training and tabletop exercises for operations and engineering staff.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of OT network architectures, asset inventories, and risk registers.
