We have an exciting opportunity, at the American Heart Association! We are recruiting for an Executive Director in the Raleigh / Durham, NC market . This position will work with high-level corporate executives in the territory, corporate partners, and board members while supervising a team of development staff, community health staff and communications director.

Responsibilities

As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for :

• Supervising, developing, and mentoring fundraising implementers to achieve market revenue goal of $1M +
• Creating revenue pipelines and recruiting key leadership volunteers for core events
• Developing, implementing, integrating, and evaluating strategies and plans to achieve the health impact goals.
• Developing and supporting community-wide strategies for the creation of a culture of health in the market.
• Serving as the staff lead for the Board of Directors and committees to impact mission engagement, revenue goals, and leadership recruitment for campaigns.
• Developing and implementing a business plan of market growth through strategic market partnerships, key fundraising campaigns, and individual donors.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Vice President. Daily travel within the market is required.
