  • Key Responsibilities

    Core Accounting Financial Operations

  • Manage daily financial functions, including cash flow, accounts payable / receivable (AP / AR), payment scheduling , and transaction monitoring
  • Lead month-end closing processes and generate accurate P L, balance sheet , and other financial reports
  • Maintain clean and accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP standards
  • Optimize use of accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Salesforce , and related systems
  • Payroll, Tax, and Compliance

  • Administer and manage payroll processes and ensure accurate, on-time execution
  • Prepare and review tax reports , including multi-state tax filings
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory standards, and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with auditors and external partners during tax and financial audits
  • Forecasting Financial Planning

  • Provide forward-looking expense forecasting to support budget planning and future hiring strategies
  • Track, analyze, and report key financial metrics to executive leadership
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between budgets and business objectives
  • Collections Risk Management

  • Oversee collections activities , monitor receivables, and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Identify and flag potential financial risks and support mitigation efforts
  • Qualifications Experience

  • CPA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3-5+ & years of hands-on financial experience
  • Previous experience in healthcare or a data / tech-enabled environment is a strong plus
  • Solid background in month-end close, AP / AR, payroll, tax reporting, cash flow management
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Salesforce , and other accounting software
  • Experience preparing and filing multi-state tax reports
  • High attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Must be based in or willing to work on-site at our Royal Oak, MI office
