Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer with extensive experience in programming, setup, and operation, along with manual machining expertise and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes to ensure efficient and accurate production. This position is based in Santa Ana, CA, with a day shift from 5 : 30 am to 2 pm.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and Production teams to meet production goals.
• Develop, optimize, and implement CNC programs to manufacture precise components.
• Generate CNC programs from engineering drawings or customer-supplied .step files.
• Accurately interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and programming errors.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in efficiency and quality.

Work Environment

Work in a mid-sized machine shop with approximately 45 staff, including a machining team of around 25 and 4-5 programmers. The shop includes departments for deburring, quality, and shipping, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Ana, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $150000.00 / yr.
