WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Obtain a copy of the production schedule / shipping order and transport material to and from designated areas in the facility
  • Load and unload goods
  • Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays while following inventory control instructions
  • Check that loads are secure
  • Stack empty pallets
  • Perform daily equipment checks and maintain equipment
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Dump materials into machine hoppers
  • May be required to use RF scanner gun

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards
  • Good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
  • High degree of attention is required to prevent injury to others
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Must be able to execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner

    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
  • Often work in varying temperatures, depending upon the season
