Position Overview :

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a General Medical and Psychological Consultant to support the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DDDS). In this role, you will provide expert medical / psychological consultation to adjudicator staff, review records, assess impairment severity, and ensure compliance with Social Security regulations to guide disability determinations.

Qualifications :

Education : MD, DO, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent degree in a relevant field.

Licensure : Active Washington State license; must be authorized to conduct business in WA.

Experience : 2+ years of post-graduate clinical training or experience; 5+ years of DDDS consultation experience (preferred).

Technical Skills : Proficiency in medical / psychological record interpretation and Social Security regulations.

Soft Skills : Strong analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Additional Requirements : No exclusion from participation in federal healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities :

Review and interpret medical / psychological records to assess impairment severity.

Provide expert guidance to DDDS adjudicators on disability determinations.

Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and DDDS protocols.

Attend quarterly consultant meetings to discuss process improvements.

Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with staff.
