Summary :

The Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and positive shopping experiences. This position involves not only sacking groceries but also various front-end courtesy tasks such as assisting guests with their purchases, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting team operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests by greeting and engaging them as they enter the area.
  • Assist guests with groceries by efficiently sacking items and transporting them to their vehicles.
  • Maintain safety while moving in and out of the store during carry-outs.
  • Promote guest participation in satisfaction surveys and rewards programs.
  • Utilize resources responsibly to help the store remain profitable.
  • Adhere to the daily work schedule assigned by management.
  • Follow dress code and attendance guidelines outlined in the team member handbook.
  • Act promptly to report spills or damaged items, ensuring guest safety by never leaving spills unattended.
  • Conduct sacking duties according to training standards to ensure guest safety and convenience.
  • Adapt to changing guest flow by moving between check stands as needed.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor by greeting guests politely throughout the store and parking lot.
  • Replace sack supplies when necessary.
  • Occasionally perform stocking duties as assigned by management, which may include replenishing items such as milk, bread, and eggs.
  • Complete other tasks as requested by management.

Key Requirements :

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency.
  • Capable of performing all physical aspects of sacker / stocker duties, including bending, lifting, standing, squatting, climbing, and walking, with agility during peak business hours.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 80 lbs. frequently.
  • Able to place items weighing up to 80 lbs. in vehicle trunks and floorboards.
  • Open to receiving coaching related to work performance and attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships.
