About the Role

The Tax Managing Director will also be involved in the direct supervision of tax professionals, and will be a key member of the office or region leadership team, contributing to the overall management and development of the tax practice. Applicants for the Tax Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree in accountancy or taxation preferred. A CPA, Attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent certification is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of relevant tax experience, with a strong preference for those with industry expertise in one or more tax specialties. Superior communication, analytical, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to manage and develop a team of tax professionals. The role also involves a significant amount of client interaction, so the candidate must have the executive presence and relationship management skills necessary to act as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.
