Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$165,000.00 - $272,200.00

What Is the Opportunity?

At Travelers, our Cybersecurity Engineering teams are responsible for the overall implementation and management of strategic platforms that provide oversight, process management, protection and enablement of security control processes and allow for an effective Cybersecurity practice. As a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer, you will drive the technical and strategic direction of a team of cybersecurity professionals who are responsible for the successful configuration, enhancement, automation, and implementation across multiple cybersecurity platforms. You are responsible for the technical oversight of all programs in its entirety, including the strategic roadmap and enterprise alignment with other technologies.

What Will You Do?

• Provide high level technical cybrsecurity engineering solutions to critical and complex issues and initiatives.
• Drive the strategic planning and roadmap creation for the team.
• Recommend and sponsor purchases and / or licensed software products to identify and address security exposures.
• Represent Cybersecurity organization at design and new technology meetings.
• Act as a sponsor across multiple enterprise projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
