What you’ll tackle

  • Job-shop teardown, inspection, repair, and assembly of large pumps, valves, and rotating equipment
  • Hands-on maintenance and rebuilds of centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, pump seals, and their support systems
  • Blueprint and assembly drawing interpretation to ensure accurate fit-up and rebuild quality
  • Precision measurement using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools
  • Application of deep mechanical aptitude to diagnose issues and verify that pump components function together as designed

What you bring

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on, job-shop repair experience with large rotating equipment
  • Experience across a range of rotating assets : centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, and seal / support systems
  • Millwright mechanic background, or formal training from an accredited technical college / trade school, or completion of an equivalent multi-year apprenticeship
  • High mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
  • Ability to use and interpret micrometers, calipers, gauges, and inspection tooling
  • Solid understanding of the individual components that comprise a pump and how they interact
