About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Senior Manager for Professional Practices Audit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing professional practices, coordinating work planning activities, and expanding the use of technology and data analytics in the audit process. This role involves serving as a thought leader in internal auditing, ensuring compliance with international standards, and administering the quality assurance and improvement program. The VP, Senior Manager will also be involved in the development and maintenance of the audit universe, monitoring the implementation of the work plan, and partnering with the internal audit management team to identify opportunities for the use of data analytics and automation.
Applicants for this position at the company should have an advanced university degree in a relevant field, with a preference for business administration, finance, or accounting. Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CA, or CISA are desirable. The role requires at least 3-5 years of professional practices experience or 7+ years in audit or control functions, with a strong background in risk-based audit methodologies and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, as well as a solid knowledge of the audit and banking / financial industry and its associated risks. Responsibilities also include the administration of a training and professional development program for the internal audit department.
