APS DESIGN is looking for additional members to join our instructional design team as Learning Developers.
The Learning Developer role is designed for someone with some prior experience in the fields of instructional design or learning and development. Working under a Senior Instructional Designer, the Learning Developer participates in multiple stages of a project, works with content from a variety of clients and subject-matter experts, and produces custom learning assets.
This is a part-time position, paid by an hourly rate for hours worked. We are looking for individuals who can commit to an average of 1520 hours per week.

Job Summary
APS DESIGN seeks a Learning Developer to perform content development work as a member of our instructional design team. This is a part-time, hourly position with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have some work experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a similar field. They will also have a working understanding of instructional design and provide work samples that demonstrate using a variety of learning development tools and strategies.

Basic Qualifications :
This role requires excellent written communication skills for writing and developing learning assets such as eLearning activities; printable job aids; scenarios and case studies; scripts / storyboards for instructional videos; and effective questions for knowledge checks, quizzes, and surveys. It also requires a basic working knowledge of learning theory and instructional design models for adult learners applied to a professional setting (Behaviorism, Cognitivism, Gagnes Events of Instruction, Kirkpatricks Levels of Evaluation, ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
