Founded in 2020 in partnership with DuneGlass Capital, a healthcare services-focused independent sponsor, the Allied OMS network now includes 75 doctors serving patients from 56 locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
The Role
Allied OMS is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a proven track record in Snowflake, API integration, Tableau, and medical / healthcare data analysis. This is a hybrid role based in Southlake, TX, where you will play a key role in delivering actionable insights from complex datasets, integrating data sources, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate will also have deep familiarity with medical billing systems and the ability to analyze and model doctor compensation structures, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals. You will work closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, and clinical leadership to deliver robust, data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data models, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and scalability
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, EMRs, practice management systems, and third-party tools
- Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards to monitor key performance metrics, clinical outcomes, operational KPIs, and financial metrics
- Partner with finance and operations teams to analyze medical billing data and reconcile it with productivity, revenue cycle, and doctor compensation calculations
- Build data pipelines and models to support compensation distribution frameworks based on production, collections, and contractual arrangements
- Perform deep-dive analysis into medical and practice management data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvement
- Work with IT and vendors to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient data flows in accordance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, PHI protection)
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
- Provide ad hoc reporting and insights to executive leadership, surgeons, and operational teams
- Document data models, API integrations, billing logic, and reporting methodologies for maintainability
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in a data analytics role, preferably in healthcare or medical data environmentsProficiency with Snowflake, SQL, and cloud-based data warehousingStrong experience developing API integrations to extract and transform data from disparate systemsAdvanced Tableau skills, including dashboard design, performance tuning, and data storytellingExperience working with medical billing systems, CPT / ICD coding structures, and claims processing workflowsProven ability to calculate and reconcile doctor compensation based on production, collections, and contractual termsFamiliarity with EMR / EHR systems and healthcare data standardsStrong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audiencesBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field; Master’s degree preferredPreferred Skills
