Our client, a large-scale organization with revenues in the billions, is building out its internal tax function. This newly created position will join a collaborative five-person tax team and report directly to the VP of Finance. The company operates within the engineering and large-scale project sector, but direct industry experience is not required-what matters most is your ability to navigate the tax complexities of a large corporate environment, with prior experience ideally working with $500M+ in revenue.

What You'll Do

• As a Senior Tax Analyst, you'll play a key role in the preparation and analysis of tax provisions and compliance. Your responsibilities will include :
• Supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual global tax provisions, including federal, state, international, and joint venture components.
• Partnering closely with Tax Managers and leadership to calculate effective tax rates, analyze tax impacts, and prepare supporting documentation in line with ASC 740 (training available if needed).
• Assisting with U.S. federal and state income tax compliance for corporate and partnership entities.
• Helping to resolve audit matters and ensure tax positions are appropriately documented and supported.
• Contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives as the tax department continues to grow and modernize.

This position is fully on-site, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM in the San Fernando, CA area. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
