The Manager, Merchandising, Planning and Allocation is responsible for developing, executing, and managing merchandise financial plans, in collaboration with the buying team, that align with the company's strategic initiatives. This role also engages in thoughtful assortment building, merchandise allocation, and other planning strategies that support the product lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop, execute, communicate, and manage omni-commerce merchandise plans to drive sales and margin.
Demand forecasting atskulevel to help inform purchases and top-down planning.
Project receipt flow for vendors on new items in partnership with supply chain.
Manage theskurationalization process including forecasting the appropriate markdowns to liquidate product; communicate end of life strategy with product lifecycle managers as well as cross-functional partners.
Identify risks and opportunities through detailed analysis; communicate strategic recommendations to merchandising partners and management.
Collaborate with field merchandising in allocation approach and regional sales opportunities.
Collaborate with all cross functional team members as well as all vendor partners.
Build assortment plan guidance utilizing store clustering.
Support a collective, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers.
Maintain a mindful commitment toward the company’s omnichannel customer experience strategy.
Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.
Execute team member performance improvement plans, progressively discipline and terminations when appropriate per Company policy.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred
Professional Experience
5+ Years relevant professional experience with at least the 2 most recent years in an omnichannel retailer with exposure or direct management toward a majority of role responsibilities listed above.

Pay Range :
100,000-110,000 per year
