Overview :
Our client is seeking an experienced Onboarding Manager to lead new RIA and advisory firm clients through one of the most important phases of their journey : the transition onto the platform. In this highly visible role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring that new relationships start strong and stay strong. This role is equal parts project leader, process expert, and client consultant. You’ll turn complex onboarding efforts into seamless, confidence-inspiring experiences — building the kind of trust and momentum that sets the stage for long-term success.
Responsibilities :
- You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding new firms and advisors, ensuring every piece of the transition is coordinated, timely, and aligned with client expectations. From custodial setup to performance reporting integrations, you’ll make the process feel less like a project and more like a partnership.
- Managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new advisory firms, partnering with internal teams across operations, trading, product, and compliance.
- Coordinating directly with custodians to ensure smooth transfers, clear communication, and minimal disruption.
- Building detailed project plans and timelines to keep transitions on track and clients well-informed at every stage.
- Providing hands-on guidance to new clients around systems, workflows, and best practices for platform adoption.
- Supporting integration and setup on performance reporting tools such as Orion, Tamarac, Black Diamond, or Addepar.
- Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues that could impact timelines or client satisfaction.
- Helping evolve and refine onboarding processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the overall client experience.
- Creating a launch experience that builds trust and reflects our client’s values of clarity, collaboration, and reliability.
Qualifications :
4–5+ years of experience in onboarding, implementation, or client operations — preferably within wealth management, fintech, or a custodial environment.Deep familiarity with advisor workflows, investment products, and custodial procedures.Excellent project management skills — organized, detail-oriented, and able to lead timelines across multiple stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities — calm under pressure and able to translate complexity into clarity.A collaborative, proactive mindset with a focus on delivering smooth and successful client transitions.Bonus : Experience with CRM migrations, performance reporting integration, or transitioning books of business.Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
