Pay Range : $20.89 - $26.20 per hour

Job Overview : As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering basic, direct patient care tailored to the specific needs of our patients. You will work closely with our health care team, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, to ensure compliance with department policies and standards of care.

Qualifications :

Required :

High School Diploma

BLS Certification through American Heart Association

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Effective communication and basic math skills

Preferred :

Previous Nursing Assistant experience and / or completion of two Registered Nurse accredited clinical courses and / or a Certified Nursing Assistant program

Scheduling Requirements :

• Nights : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
• Every other weekend required; weekday schedule varies by department needs
• Full-Time : 37.5 hrs
• Mandatory Orientation

Essential Functions :

• Engage in assessing patient needs and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient and / or family education within your knowledge base.
• Contribute to unit quality improvement activities.
• Utilize growth and development principles to assess and address each patient's age-specific needs.
