Job Overview : As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering basic, direct patient care tailored to the specific needs of our patients. You will work closely with our health care team, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, to ensure compliance with department policies and standards of care.
Qualifications :
Required :High School DiplomaBLS Certification through American Heart AssociationAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishEffective communication and basic math skillsPreferred :Previous Nursing Assistant experience and / or completion of two Registered Nurse accredited clinical courses and / or a Certified Nursing Assistant programScheduling Requirements :
- Nights : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
- Every other weekend required; weekday schedule varies by department needs
- Full-Time : 37.5 hrs
- Mandatory Orientation
Essential Functions :
- Engage in assessing patient needs and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient and / or family education within your knowledge base.
- Contribute to unit quality improvement activities.
- Utilize growth and development principles to assess and address each patient's age-specific needs.
