Process Engineer

Onsite : Paramount, CA

Salary : 85k-100k DOE

Position Overview

We are a designer and manufacturer of custom doors and windows for luxury homes and are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions.
Create and maintain engineered drawings and BOMs using AutoCAD and CAD software.
Utilize ERP systems for process management and documentation.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues to reduce downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all engineering practices.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

3+ yrs process, manufacturing, or applications engineering experience.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or MFG Engineering, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of automation technologies and their application in manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, BOMs, and engineered drawings.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.

Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles

Experience in fenestration, custom or ETO manufacturing is a huge plus!

We produce large, custom glass and aluminum panels so experience with producing large components would be a fit for us.
