What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and / or maintenance issues as observed during patrols.

Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed to address security-related concerns and support emergency procedures.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any hazards or suspicious behavior in accordance with site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
