2nd shift 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm

Role Purpose

Safely operate machinery within the production facility to meet production and quality targets.

Perform light maintenance and keep machine within 5s standards. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures products are made to specifications and production schedules are met while maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility 1

Must be able to operate machinery to produce defect free product.

Must be able to troubleshoot machine breakdowns and escalate as needed maintenance

and engineering.

Inspect parts at the defined frequency to ensure quality product coming off the production line.

Responsible for proper labeling of product during all phases of manufacturing.

Responsibility 2

Responsible for accurately completing the material usage documentation, process sheets,

process change log and manufacturing reports

Responsible for cleaning work area to include 5s

Must follow Lock out / Tag out procedures

Responsibility 3

Required to rotate through various workstations and successfully perform the tasks of each

workstation

Work safely to prevent on-the-job by following MIOSHA and company policies and procedures

Store equipment / product in appropriate manner and location at the end of the shift

Responsibility 4

Ability to work various shifts

Frequent verbal communications with team members

Other assignments and responsibilities as required to support organizational and team

objectives

Qualifications and Training :

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Prior experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred

Requirements

Physical ability to stand, lift, and move for extended periods (lift up to 50lbs)

Basic math, measurement, and mechanical skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed

Background Check is required however the company is felony friendly.

Drug test is required. THC does not disqualify an applicant as long as you are sober on the job.

19.94 an hour.
