Lead Teller

As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based at PNC Coral Springs on University Branch, 2561 University Drive, Coral Springs, Fl 33065. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
The Lead Teller will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and leading tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. They will process a variety of customer interactions, educate customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions, and identify banking opportunities during the customer interaction and refer as appropriate. They will also be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and leading tellers by example in identifying opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers, making appropriate referrals to branch staff, and performing lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs. The Lead Teller will also be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and leading tellers by example with clear communication skills, transaction handling and problem resolution processes, assisting the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes, and ensuring teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.

Roles at this level typically do not require a university / college degree, high school diploma or GED, but do require related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically requires 1+ years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
