Occupational Therapist, Home Health

Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for the delivery of appropriate, adequate, effective, efficient direct patient care services assigned by the Primary Care Clinician and approved by the Clinical Manager. Responsibilities include implementation of the physician plan of care, obtaining physician orders, preparing aide plan of care, supervision of aides, and coordination of care within an interdisciplinary team and participating in effective utilization management and control of patient supplies. Consistently provides care based on the age-related needs of the unique population with consideration of their development / psychosocial needs, environmental safety, educational needs, communication style, and level of understanding. The Occupational Therapist is accountable to the Primary Care Clinician for ensuring that the plan of care is implemented following professional standards of care and agency specific protocols. May provide direction and clinical supervision to an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Job Description : EDUCATION

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• Other : OT graduate from accredited curriculum
• Bachelor's : Science, health care related area of study.
• Master's : Master's in Occupational Therapy

Pay Range is $48.07 to $63.71 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
