About the Role Temporary Position

As an Underwriting Assistant on the Latin America Facultative Team, you'll support the Financial Lines and Casualty Facultative Underwriting team based in our Miami, FL office.

What You'll Do

  • Review incoming transactions for completeness, accuracy, and quality
  • Process multi-line new business submissions, renewals, and endorsements
  • Follow department guidelines and suggest improvements
  • Manage broker and underwriting relationships with timely communication
  • Maintain correspondence and track activity using internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with ODEN state rules for cancellations and reinstatements
  • Analyze underwriting data including audits, reports, and financials
  • Update internal reports as directed by your manager

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 1 year of professional experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
  • Analytical thinking and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools
