Systems Engineer

A dynamic IT consulting firm is seeking a fulltime, direct hire Systems Engineer in the Greater Hartford area, with regular on-site visits to client sites around Windsor, CT and remote work when not on site. You’ll be working across Windows Server, VMware, Office 365, Active Directory, SQL Server, storage systems, and network integrations.

One day you’ll be setting up servers, the next you’ll guide a client through a network upgrade. We’re looking for someone who thrives on solving different technical problems and enjoys sharing knowledge with others. In this position you’ll grow your skills across servers, storage, networking and cloud tools, mentor junior team members, and build strong client relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years consulting or MSP experience (5+ preferred)
• Expert in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server & VMware
• Strong working knowledge of : Active Directory, Office 365, SQL Server, storage solutions
• Proven experience with LAN / WAN, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and client facing skills
